Introduction
The Sony VPL-SW631 is a widescreen ultra-short distance projector that offers versatile connectivity options. With its particular ultra-short distance, large images with a range of only approx. 47 cm between the projector and screen can project over a diagonal of up to 2 meters. The projector’s light beam does not blind the presenter, and there are no shadows created by the presenter. The WXGA resolution with the 1280 x 800 pixels delivers sharp images and covers the HD ready area with it. Ideal for the playback of digital content via HDMI. Sony’s 3LCD BrightEra panel technology supports it. The ultra-short-distance projector is primarily aimed at schools and also used in the business sector.
Installation
Since the Sony VPL-SW631 can install close to the wall, it can also connect in rooms where conventional projectors cannot connect. If you need to darken the picture temporarily, the light output can turn off completely to further minimize energy consumption.
Media Player & Control
The Sony VPL-SW631 has an integrated media player. You can view your photos, pictures, and graphics completely without even without a PC. The scope of delivery includes the network presentation software with which you can control presentations via a network. Up to 4 users can project PC / Mac images at the same time. Up to eight users can connect to the projector. The new input label functions provide a better overview of different sources. The labels of connected PCs, cameras, BD / DVD players, and other devices now displayed on the screen.
Connectivity
The built-in, powerful 16-watt mono speaker goes beyond a mere monitor function and is sufficient for most projections. The sound should be enough for most applications and rooms.
