Introduction
Acer introduced the Acer PL6510 laser projector on the Russian market. The model has a high brightness of 5500 lumens and a contrast ratio of 2,000,000: 1, making it perfect for working in large rooms of conference rooms, classrooms, and museums, even in bright light. Laser-phosphor technology, which used in the projector lamp, provides high image quality and long life. A convenient mounting system allows the user to install the device in any part of the room and any position.
High Image Quality & Durabilty
Laser phosphor light sources use a blue laser diode combined with a phosphor wheel and filter, which form the primary colors of the RGB spectrum. Such light sources consume 30% less energy than conventional projector lamps at the same brightness level. They can last up to 30,000 hours with virtually no decrease in maximum brightness, which significantly reduces the cost of maintenance of the projector. Also, laser-phosphorus light sources are manufactured without mercury and do not harm the environment during disposal.
Another distinctive feature of laser projectors is color accuracy. In the PL6510, it achieves 94 percent matching with the sRGB gamut, so colors always look natural, and brightness up to 5000 lumens and a contrast ratio of 2,000,000: 1 provide excellent image quality and great detail even in darkened areas of the projection, at great distances or in bright light. The maximum projection resolution is 1980×1080 pixels. (Full HD), but the device also supports working with files with a resolution of 4K.
Easy Installation & Centralized Management
Acer PL6510 rotates 360 °, is installed in almost any part of the room, supports portrait mode, which is especially true at exhibitions and shopping centers because of the image format of paintings and banners, and projection from the ceiling to the floor (and vice versa). Also, the device provides the ability to zoom in and out by up to 1.6 times, for adjustment of which a convenient wheel-adjuster provided on the projector body.
Reliable dust protection, according to the IP6X standard, almost completely relieves the projector from maintenance. It allows it to work around the clock, which is especially important when the device is installed in a place inaccessible to personnel – for example, in a room with very high ceilings. For multimedia expositions and the convenience of lectures, the Acer PL6510 equipped with two 10-watt speakers. It is ready to work just 12 seconds after turning on, unlike ordinary projectors, which have to wait up to 3 minutes to warm up the lamps. The device also supports the DICOM standard for working with x-ray images, computed tomography results, and other medical digital images.
Connectivity
IT specialists can remotely control the device via the LAN. At the same time, the system supports working with several projectors at once, setting a schedule for turning them on / off, and sending notifications by e-mail. If the user has a special Acer PL6510 dongle (sold separately), the user can connect your smartphone, laptop, or PC using a wireless connection to the Acer PL6510 as an image source.
