Introduction
The Optoma GT1080e can be more compact 3DEasy to set up a Full HD short-throw projector and project a large image from just under a meter away. The projector has an excellent brightness of 3,000 lumens for the living room home cinema area, and the light matched to its contrast of 25,000: 1.
Other Features
It offers two HDMI inputs, one of which is MHL capable. Videos and images from a corresponding MHL-compatible smartphone can be played back with a cable. ViaHDMI is the projector 3D capable and has the HDMI Link technology. The G, in the name of the projector, stands for the fast gaming mode. If a game console is connected, the delay between image and gamepad input is particularly short. With the practical carrying bag, the projector is mobile and can take to friends. The integrated 10-watt speaker ensures a good sound and should be sufficient in smaller rooms.
Image Technology
The full 3D capability of the Optoma projector is unusual for the private sector. It plays the corresponding 3D material from players such as 3D Blu-ray players, SAT/receivers (for 3D television programs), and current game consoles. The frame rate is fast 144 Hz and ensures a quiet 3D. 24p support is typical for a projector in the private sector. Most films are currently playing at 24 frames per second.
A movie played back from a Blu-ray is played back at precisely this frequency. So exactly as the director intended. The Optoma GT1080e offers with the Full HD resolution sharp image of 1920 x 1080 pixels and can be placed close to the wall due to its short-throw optics. Be contrast 25,000: 1 is coordinated, gives the picture more depth, and ensures a high-contrast display. The BrilliantColor Multi-Color Processing Technology delivers natural and lifelike colors. We were able to confirm this in an Optoma GT1080e test. With the unique short-distance lens, the projector delivers a large image from an almost one-meter distance. The image size is achieved via the distance to the canvas/wall, since the zoom fixed.
Gaming Mode
The Optoma GT1080e has integrated a gaming mode. If, for example, a game console or gaming PC connected to the projector, a gaming mode can be activated for racing and fast action games, which minimizes the latency times and, at the same time, contrast maximized.
