Image Technology
You can display images from 30 to 300 inches to the powerful image projection, making the Ricoh PJ WU5570 projector suitable for a variety of different screening rooms and auditoriums. Two HDMI-Ports, including an MHL-enabled port, enable the connection of mobile devices, including smartphones. You can additionally connect a variety of input devices such as network PCs and even HD video sources such as Blu-ray players.
Other Features
The model is based on a single-chip DLP-matrix of 0.67 inches from Texas Instruments (clearly indicated by the inscription on the device’s case) with a physical resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, and a mercury lamp used as a backlight source. The working resource declared at the level of 4000 hours in ‘economy mode’ and up to 3000 hours in standard mode, which, given its high power, is quite high. But you can’t say that about the noise level – 33-35 dB – quite a bit for such a powerful projector.
In addition to a bright lamp that provides comfortable use of the device in ordinary rooms, the Ricoh PJ WU5570 projector boasts a 1.8x zoom lens, the ability to optically shift the projected image horizontally and vertically in a reasonably wide range, electronic keystone correction (including automatic and manual at 4 extreme points of the screen). And a minimum distance to the working surface of 1 meter (from the back of the device) from which you can get a picture with a diagonal of ~ 30 inches. The maximum possible is significantly higher and will impress any consumer – 300 inches from just under 8 meters.
