ASUS ZenPad 10 has a very stylish design. The manufacturing company is always moving forward in this component. The back of the device has the original texture—used plastic imitating leather. At the edge, it turns into a smooth coating—embossed ASUS wordmark in the middle. The advantages of the case round, so, despite the screen size of 10 inches, it is comfortable to hold it even with one hand—metallic bezel for a look solidity and style.

Screen
The tablet has a resolution of only 1280 × 800 pixels with a pixel density of 149 per inch. Agree. It is quite a bit for a 10-inch size. If you wish, you can see the grains without any problems. The matrix is quite dim, the maximum brightness of 275 cd / m 2, but the contrast of 2000: 1 bit saves the day. Woefully, on a bright sunny day, you will have to look for shady places. The display has a high overview – 178 ° – to the IPS-matrix.
The proprietary image enhancement technology still noticeably improves picture quality. For such low resolution and brightness, the image looks perfect. ASUS Tru2Life technology enhances contrast and sharpness by increasing the range of tones. The difference increases by up to 200%. Automatic dimming enables a higher backlight level when ambient light levels are high—the display manufacture using TruVivid technology, which uses 2 instead of 4 layers of material. The color rendition is at a sufficient level, the sRGB palette cover by 83%.
Multimedia Capabilities
The sound plays with excellent quality. The loudspeaker sounds quite good, although it can whistle at high frequencies. The bass, unfortunately, is practically inaudible. All the beauty of sound can felt through headphones. DTS-HD Premium Sound and SonicMaster technologies are responsible for the sound. The stereo signal is converted to multi-channel audio and sounds impressive. The built-in utility AudioWizard has several sound presets such as movies, games, music. For listening without headphones, you can purchase a case with built-in speakers or the ASUS Audio Dock, including a full-size keyboard.
Battery & Run Time
The battery life is also not a record one. The tablet can discharge in 4 to 17 hours. At maximum load, for example, during a game, with the wireless module turned on and the brightness turned on at maximum, the tablet will ask you to ‘eat’ after a few hours. If desired, you can stretch it for 17 hours, but you will have to save many charges. The average battery life is 7 to 9 hours. The indicator is relevant for working on the Internet via Wi-Fi at an intermediate brightness level. The full charging time is approximately 4 hours. It is quite a long time considering that the battery is not that big. When you need to have time to reach the outlet in emergency cases, you can activate the built-in saving mode.
Camera
The primary modification has a camera just for the show. Even for a budget tablet, the immediate camera resolution is 2 megapixels, and for the front one, 0.3 is a terrible indicator. Only the Z300CL has 5 and 2-megapixel cameras, respectively. PixelMaster photo quality technology improves image quality even under adverse conditions and, the front camera uses a wide-angle lens, guaranteeing a 75-degree field of view. The technology enhances light sensitivity several times, so even dark photos will not have less noise. Super Resolution mode takes 4 shots at once and then adds them into one. More or less high-quality pictures are obtained with good lighting and a resolution of 5 megapixels. The younger versions should not be considered a camera.
