Design & Features
The Mavic Platinum features a sleek design and dense body that is both powerful and alluring. A new and improved 30-min flight time coupled with 60% noise power reduction makes the Mavic Pro Platinum DJI’s best portable drone yet.
The DJI Mavic Pro takes all of the extra features of the Mavic Pro, which revolutionized personal flight and built on them. It is perfect for travelers, amateur photographers, and outdoors. With an 11% gain in flight time taking it up 30 min coupled with a 60% noise power reduction, the Mavic Pro provides the best portable drone experience yet. Additionally, the drone’s compact and most robust body has also created with an attractive platinum-colored shell. Furthermore, pilots of the DJI Mavic Pro benefit from a portable, powerful and easy-to-use camera drone that features a 4K stabilized camera, 4.3 miles range, innovative Flight autonomy technology to sense hurdle up to 49 ft away and a variety of brilliant flight modes that make it extremely easy to fly.
Functionality
OcuSync is an all-new DJI designed long-range transmission technology capable of up to 4.3mi of transmission range, HD 720p extensive range, and Full HD 1080p short range video streaming – far surpassing the capacity of any Wi-Fi transmission system. Every time you fly, OcuSync scans a variety of available frequencies to find and use the one with the minimum interference to give you more reliability and control. Tightly desegregated with DJI GO, OcuSync gives vital statistics of the Mavic to you in real-time, and can also use to download pictures and videos while you fly at a maximum rate of up to 40 Mb/s.
There are more subtle aspects that you can find in the technical specifications and the attached manual. These are the speed of change of height, pace, and height of flight. It must remember that all are affected by the environment, especially wind, therefore, indicate the speed with and without wind. Also, the drone has a sports mode, as inexpensive cars. The quadrocopter reduces and climbs 3m/s. In sport mode, it rises at a speed of 5m/s. The highest flight speed – in sport mode and without wind – 65km/h. The maximum height is 5 km above sea level. On average, you will fly at a speed of 18km/h.
Camera
Mavic supports 4K video at 30fps. No Electronic Image Stabilization used, ensuring all footage is 4K HD. We have designed a miniaturized, ultra-precise 3-axis gimbal camera for the Mavic Pro, able to stabilize the gimbal camera even during high-speed motion for smooth videos and sharp pictures. Everyone loves a good view. Whether you want to take a snap or are building up your portfolio, the Mavic’s 12-megapixel gimbal camera with Adobe DNG RAW support is ready to shoot.
Battery & Charging
For stand-alone devices, arranging power and charging is essential. We already said that the Platinum battery remained the same as in the Mavic Pro – lithium-polymer, at 3830 mAh. The set of 4 cells, including the one in the case. Install one battery at a time. It turns out that you can count on 2 hours of filming if you took a fully charged kit with you. Charging out: the package includes a hub that feeds four batteries at once. The power supply through which the center connects to the power is also multitasking. There are 2 USB sockets on it so that you recharge the phone and the remote control – you can’t discharge it during the flight. The battery level can also see on the panel of the drone – it displays four indicators. Included is a car charger.
