Introduction
Yuneec Mantis Q Drone, an incredibly well-designed drone that you will rise in love with and probably never find the need to improve. To give you a sneak peep into the specs and features that you can find in this beautiful specimen.
Design
The Yuneec Mantis Q Drone is not a large drone. It dimensions 6.6 by 3.9 by 2.2 inches when folded, making it a very viable drone. It also doesn’t weigh much. It has rated at 1 pound only. The matte-black finish is entirely excellent, too, especially as it will not reflect sunshine as gloss finishing would. The four arms fold backward, making the drone quite safe and easy to travel.
Camera
You will get 4K videos and high-quality photos saved in JPEG or DNG format. The 4K videos are entirely stunning, even when you grasp them when the drone is flying at top speed. You can store the video and photo footage in an SD card, and you may share them immediately with your friends and family on social media networks. The Yuneec Mantis Q Drone camera is in-built, fully joined into the drone. It is not removable.
Functionality
It is one of the top features for people that love taking ‘selfie’ photographs. When your drone recognizes your face, it will stand up to 13 feet from you and take pictures or record a video at that level. You could also set the drone in gesture control mode where you wave, and the Mantis Q starts taking your photographs.
It also has a voice control feature. You can tell it to /Return Home/Come Back/Start Landing/Start Recording/Wake-up and many others. You will find all of these commands in the app. However, the same is also true of the remote control if you would like to fly the drone manually instead of voice commands.
When you geofence a drone, put restrictions in place so that the Yuneec Mantis Q Drone does not venture outside a certain perimeter. It is essential when you live near restricted areas like military establishments and air spaces. You can create a geofence throughout your drone.
Remote Control
It looks incredibly robust, has many icons and commands, and even without the app, you can fly the drone fantastically, but you’ll not enjoy FPV mode. The remote comes with a rechargeable 3000 mAh battery and a USB cable for fixing your smartphone and another one for charging.
Battery
The drone uses a Li-Po 2800mAh battery. The battery is removable, so you can all the time order a spare one to double your flight time.
