Introduction

The Acer Predator Z850 is still a very rare beast with ultra-short focus. Ordinary projectors need to stand at the opposite end of the room to expand the picture. And with a range of 40 cm, the diagonal grows to 120 inches. Three meters wide and more than a meter in height. At the same time, the aspect ratio is almost theatrical – 24: 9. However, it achieved with a non-standard resolution of 1920 × 720, but it still looks impressive.
Image Technology
The quality of the picture does not fail. In films, this means the following. With a good screen, the colors are almost indistinguishable from those of ordinary TVs. Also, due to the enormous speed of the source, the transitions between dark and light frames are excellent, the laser turns off and turns on almost instantly. The Acer Predator Z850 projector is also very bright – 3,000 lumens passports (nearly 500 cd / m 2). If in the film some spotlight hits the camera, then it blinds. In games, non-standard resolution and aspect ratio added to the stunning picture. In the same FIFA, 17 users naturally see a half times a larger piece of the field. And the mountain panoramas in Rising of the Tomb Raider are truly mesmerizing.
Connectivity
But for the set of connectors, Acer praise. In addition to the usual HDMI and D-sub (VGA) pair, engineers added outputs to the headset and regular speakers, as well as a LAN port. Through it, users can configure DLNA and stream any video stream from a computer. Conveniently.
