Introduction

Quadcopter DJI Inspire 1 v2.0 – the beginning of your creativity. The latest technology from the world’s best manufacturer of aircraft. This review is dedicated to the updated version of the DJI Inspire 1 V2.0 quadrocopter. The model took all the best from the previous version: a complete set with a 4K video camera, the ability to control from the DJI Go App mobile application, the Vision positioning and control system. Also in the new quadrocopter there is a modular method of installing elements that allows you to update the drone, HD-video broadcasting over long distances using the Light Bridge system is preserved, as well as an intelligent electric power system to control the charge. The developers did not forget about the dynamic home point, the unique remote control and the ‘smart’ flight modes have been improved updated 1245T propellers.

Appearance

The updated DJI Inspire 1 V2.0 looks very futuristic. Structurally, the quadrocopter is made of carbon fiber, so it has a light weight and high aerodynamic properties, providing maneuverability and stability in the air. The copter is made in black and white, strictly and simultaneously modern. It is also important to note that the quadcopter DJI Inspire 1 v2.0 received a new design in the form of a transformer. This made it possible for the device to confidently perform maneuvers in the air, raise/lower the chassis, and also rotate the camera 360° with a 94° viewing angle.

Features & Flight Controller

For data transfer, the quadrocopter uses the unique Lightbridge technology, which allows you to transfer video from the device to a smartphone, tablet in 720p quality. In addition, the user has the opportunity to view the shooting in online mode at a distance of up to two kilometers. DJI GO application for controlling and working with the DJI Inspire 1 V2.0 drone is thought out no less than the device itself. It provides a wide range of free functionalities, including detailed control settings, as well as video and photography, recording high-quality flights, processing recorded data, automatic take-off and landing.

The flight controller or quadrocopter control panel can be safely called the ‘brain’ of the system, since it receives and processes about a thousand bits every second. The controller sends commands to the components of the device, conducts an online analysis of the environment and provides an instant response of the device to user actions. A mobile device is placed on a special mount to access the video and the DJI Go application. However, the main feature of the DJI Inspire 1 V2.0 model is the ability to connect a co-pilot. One pilot can control the quadrocopter itself, and the second with a camera and gimbal. The image from the camera will be available to both the first and second users.

4- modes4- modes

Flying Modes

There are 3 main modes available.

P (positioning) – functions when there is a strong GPS signal. There are three different states of this mode, automatically switching depending on the presence/absence and strength of the GPS signal and data from the sensors of the Vision positioning system:

1.) P-GPS – GPS signal and Vision system are available, the positioning of the drone is carried out by GPS;

2.) P-OPTI – only the Vision positioning system is available, there is no GPS signal, the device uses only the Vision system for freezing;

3.) P-ATTI – when it is impossible to use a GPS signal and Vision positioning system, the necessary height is exclusively maintained.

A (altitude) – GPS signal and Vision positioning system are not used to maintain position, the device uses only a barometer to maintain altitude. If a GPS signal is received, the quadrocopter will be able to return to the base on its own if the connection with the remote control is lost (condition: successfully save the return point to the base before).

F (functional) – involves the use of smart attitude control (CID).

To switch flight modes, you need to use the mode switch on the remote control.

Camera

This model uses an improved camera with the ability to shoot video in 4K resolution at speeds up to 30 fps, or HD-quality at speeds up to 60 fps. The photo is taken in 12MP. A lens with a 94° viewing angle (FOV 94°) consists of nine elements. Together with special curved lines, these elements exclude various ‘noises’ and the ‘fisheye’ effect. DJI has worked hard to improve camera stabilization. Now the Zenmuse X3 gimbal is used in the copter, characterized by smooth video. This is achieved by processing data at the highest speed, where all the necessary factors are taken into account – speed, location, angle, etc. The suspension rotates completely around its axis and therefore there are no hidden corners left for the user. This is not even affected by the direction of flight of the quadrocopter.

6- software6- software

Software

It is important that the application is constantly being developed and updated. Minimum system requirements: iOS 8.0 and higher, Android 4.1.2 and higher. The device has GPS + GLONASS satellite systems, so you can be calm – you definitely will not lose sight of it.

Battery

7- battery7- battery

The quadrocopter is equipped with a 6S lithium-polymer rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh. This allows the copter to work offline for up to 18 minutes. The speed of this model is 22m/s or 80km/h. This provides an autonomous flight at a distance of 24 kilometers. The battery software in continuous mode calculates the time and distance required to return ‘home’ and sends information to the user, displaying them on the screen.

This way you can plan your flight correctly. If necessary, the battery sends a warning signal, which will protect you from troubles. In addition, the battery is able to note the number of charge cycles, power on banks, as well as the current status. If you are afraid to accidentally interrupt your enjoyment of flying, you can buy additional batteries. Replacement will take only a minute of time.

8- motor8- motor

Motor

The DJI Inspire 1 V2.0 uses the latest powerful 3510H brushless motors with 420 rpm, which is more than in the previous version. This increased the efficiency and overall quadcopter performance, which provided new opportunities for pilots. A robust carbon fiber mount provides visibility and can be tuned depending on the shooting.
