Time-Honored Craftsmanship
The first launch in IFA in September 2016, ASUS ZenWatch 3 recently arrived in Pakistan and other regions. This is the continuation of ASUS ZenWatch 2 (obviously), this smartwatch offers great value, but its not the most popular Android Wear clock. ZenWatch 2 feels cheap, and its rectangular design has no value. The new Android Wear smartphone from ASUS is equipped with a more advanced design, better materials and a new round surface – the first ASUS.
Asus did an excellent job of improving its latest version of the Android Wear smartwatch. ZenWatch 3 has one of the best displays for any smartwatch, has long battery life and is well built. It lacks some functions, but it is certainly an attractive smartwatch.
A sight to behold.
The design of ZenWatch 3 is completely different from the design of the previous generation, and it does not seem to even come from the same company. The design of ZenWatch 3 is boring and versatile enough to make you fall asleep. The case of ZenWatch 3 has a bright stainless steel case with pink gold around the case and a crown button. This is definitely a more adult product than ZenWatch 2.
The most noticeable design feature of ZenWatch 3 is the artificial chronograph button on the right side of the case and a strange shield. Whether you are a fan of a janitor, because they look thicker than they need, no one will appreciate the fact that ASUS has chosen a corporate belt.
Purity, Precision, Perfection.
As for the display, ZenWatch 3 uses 1.39-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 400 x 400. Its as bright and sharp as you want. One strange thing that I noticed was that the glass produced a strange visual effect on the edge of the display, and its 2.5D gorilla glass was slightly curved. If you look at the clock from top to bottom, you will really notice it.
The display is fully visible in the open air and has an automatic brightness adjustment, which is always popular and works well. Android Wear also offers Brightness Boost, as well as manual brightness adjustment.
Redefining the smartwatch.
ASUS ZenWatch 3 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100, designed to carry devices. The chip name is a 25% increase in efficiency, which supports LTE modems. ZenWatch 3 does not have its own LTE chip, but it supports Wi-Fi.
The rest of the specifications are familiar to the owner of ZenWatch 2, with RAM of 512MB and 4GB of internal memory. You can use the built-in storage to load playlists to listen to music on your Bluetooth headset anytime and anywhere. It does not have LTE or GPS and therefore has limited functionality. Those who want to be able to run a smart clock without a connection to the phone should look elsewhere.
Traditional Italian tailoring
Asus claims that you will receive two days of battery life, provided by the Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor and 340 mAh battery, and the online display will always be turned off. The good news is that Asus is quickly charging in ZenWatch 3, allowing it to fluctuate from 0% to 60% in just 15 minutes. Charging is high-speed.
If you are a heavy user, you are expected to carry a cradle with you. Alternatively, you can purchase an additional 200 mAh battery that is thin enough to be placed under ZenWatch 3.
