Introduction
The X600 drone suffered a number of significant changes. It has increased in size, and it was on this model that the ‘Return to Hardware’ function was first used without reference to GPS. Appearance
To get to the insides of the drone you will need a lot of time. It is assembled very well. The quality of the plastic is good. The plastic of the case is of high quality and there is no feeling of cheap crafts. After the installation of protection and landing gear, the medium-sized drone becomes larger and looks more impressive. Rackmounts are quite durable, it is unlikely that the chassis will come off when landing. Six beams are LED backlight diodes. It is impossible not to notice the copter in the evening sky, it is well illuminated. The battery is inserted into the compartment on the bottom of the drone and is securely attached. Also at the bottom there are mounts for mounting the video module. The ability to connect a camera is a nice option. The model can be made in both white and black.
Camera
To date, the MJX X600 is officially equipped with two types of C4016/C4018 cameras. The shooting quality of both is below average. In addition to video recording and photo, they broadcast the video stream via Wi-Fi to a smartphone (IOS/Android) connected to the camera.
Control & Functionality
Complete with the MJX X600 hexacopter is the classic 4-channel control equipment GR-246, operating at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. In the interference-free area, the drone is removed up to 100 meters away. In a metropolis, this distance is no further than 60 meters. Power is supplied by four 1.5V ‘AA’ format batteries.
ONE-KEY RETURN – this function is active only in the ‘Headless mode’. If the pilot for some reason lost sight of his drone, then do not worry much. By pressing the button on the remote control under the left index finger, the hex will obediently return to the equipment. The pilot is involved only in altitude control, since the meeting of the hexacopter with obstacles is not excluded. In order to disable this function, you need to move the right stick to one of the sides and then the drone will go into manual control. This function is active at maximum flow rates (PRO). Allows the X600 to masterfully perform coups.
Battery
The MJX X600 hexacopter is equipped with two cans of lithium-polymer battery with a JST connector with a capacity of 700mAh. With a mixed piloting style provides a flight time of 7-8 minutes. The charging time on average is 1.5 hours.
Motor
Hexacopter MJX X600 is equipped with collector motors with transmission of torque through the gear. In the ‘PRO’ mode, there is enough potential in excess. Ready to carry a good HD camera (Mobius MINI or Firefly Q6) onboard without noticeable loss in handling.
