Introduction
Hover Camera Hover2 4k Drone is the next generation of autonomous UAVs with an emphasis on aerial photography in the ‘Selfie’ format. A completely redesigned model that inherited from its predecessor only a portable design and demonstrative safety. It based on a powerful flagship processor and a revolutionary 360-degree obstacle recognition and the flying system powered by advanced intelligent algorithms. The Hover 2 quadrocopter equipped with brushless motors.
Camera
Onboard is a 12MP 4K camera built on a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor with f/2.2 opening, and a viewing angle of 78.8°. For image stabilization, a 2-axis mechanical suspension working in tandem with electronic stabilization (EIS) is responsible. Provide stable shooting in resolution: 4K at 30 frames/s; 2.7K at 30/60 fps; 1080P at 30/60/120 fps; 720P at 30/60/120 fps. Available shooting modes: Serial/HDR. All recorded material can save on the internal storage of the drone with a capacity of 8 GB, plus on a microSD card, with a capacity of 120 GB.
Functionality & Modes
The Hover Camera Hover2 4k Drone computer vision system can accurately capture the target, even after significant changes in its appearance and form. By modeling the outside world and monitoring the surrounding figures, the developer’s algorithm allows you to assess the cause of the obstacle accurately and intelligently adjust the tracking strategy. First-person flight for Hover 2 implemented over Wi-Fi through a tandem consisting of BlastOff control equipment and a smartphone (IOS/Android) through a mobile application. With this type of piloting, the distance of FPV removal is from 2-5km.
There are two ways to control the drone:
1.) BlastOff control panel + smartphone – via the Hover 2 mobile application. The tandem provides confident piloting in the first-person mode at a distance of 2-5km.
2.) Palm Pilot portable controller – allows you to implement control of the drone with one hand at a time when the use of standard control equipment is not relevant for the user. It has a built-in liquid crystal FPV display for outputting images from the aircraft’s onboard camera in real-time. It provides a removal distance of up to 100 meters.
The user has 3 intelligent flight modes:
1.) AutoFrame – choose one of four preset angles: Waist-Up, Full-body, Backdrop, and Birds-eye, and the drone will independently take the desired position to obtain a durable frame.
2.) Omni Follow – holds the selected object in the frame at any angle, providing greater freedom in movement and creativity.
3.) TrackShots – choose one of four predefined options for performing the mode: Surge, Ricochet, Reveal, and Orbit to realize shooting with cinematic talent.
